About Me
Meet Cara Rand
Before I was a therapist, I spent time in legal, nonprofit, and corporate settings — leading active travel trips, moving across the country more than once, building a career the challenging way. I know what it looks like to carry a lot and make it look easy.
That's who I work with now: capable people who've never had a space that wasn't asking something of them. Our work together is collaborative and unhurried — building real insight into the patterns you've outgrown, and the self-compassion to actually use it.
Curious Empath
What connects it all is my deep interest in the human experience. I’m drawn to the inner lives we carry, the transitions that shape us, and the stories we tell about who we are. In my work as a therapist, I offer a grounded, compassionate space to explore what it means to be human - honestly, gently, with curiosity and some humor thrown in.
Lived Experience
I’ve always been a deep feeler and a curious observer, naturally attuned to the emotional undercurrents of people and spaces. My path to becoming a therapist was not linear and shaped by a wide range of experiences—leading active travel adventures, living in different parts of the country, and work experience grounded in legal, non-profit and corporate context.
