About Me

Meet Cara Rand

I bring a professional and calm grounded presence to help untangle life’s more complex challenges. I work with clients who are ready to put in the work, realizing they place high demands on themselves where I support them through anxiety, overwhelm, and burnout. Our sessions are collaborative and focused on building insight into patterns of thinking while cultivating greater self compassion and taking actionable steps to change.

Curious Empath

What connects it all is my deep interest in the human experience. I’m drawn to the inner lives we carry, the transitions that shape us, and the stories we tell about who we are. In my work as a therapist, I offer a grounded, compassionate space to explore what it means to be human - honestly, gently, with curiosity and some humor thrown in.

Lived Experience

I’ve always been a deep feeler and a curious observer, naturally attuned to the emotional undercurrents of people and spaces. My path to becoming a therapist was not linear and shaped by a wide range of experiences—leading active travel adventures, living in different parts of the country, and work experience grounded in legal, non-profit and corporate context.
